Vaccinations for overseas travel

Speak to your GP about what vaccinations you may need for certain countries. Always be aware of where you are travelling, and the risks involved, to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. We are an accredited yellow fever vaccine centre.

Flu Vaccines

Influenza seasons and severity are unpredictable. However, we do know that vaccination is the most important measure we can take to avoid the flu. We encourage all patients to be vaccinated against the flu.

Childhood immunisations

Routine immunisations for your children help protect them from many serious diseases. To confirm what immunisations your child may need, speak to you GP for more information.

We cover all bases for men’s health, so speak to your GP for further information.

Women’s Health

We cover all bases of women’s health, including implanon insertion and removal, cervical screening and all aspects involved in the care of adolescence through to menopause.

Minor surgery (suturing, removal of lesions)

Depending on the type of surgery, your GP may be able to perform the procedure. This can include removal of lesions and suturing. To find out if your GP offers this type of service, please call us and speak to our friendly reception staff.

Asthma management

Although asthma is not curable there are a number of steps and medications that help treat asthma and keep it under control. If this applies to you, speak to your GP about how you can control your asthma.

Preventative health

The best form of healthcare is preventative health. Preventative health covers all aspects of health that are preventable such weight management, sexual health and more. Speak to your GP for more information.

Occupational Medicine

Speak to your GP about health concerns that arise in your workplace or are caused by your job. Book in a consultation to discuss further with your doctor.

Iron Infusions

Glen Iris Medical Centre provides Iron Infusions on site. Book an appointment with your doctor to arrange for this service.

Pathology & ECG

Glen Iris Medical Centre has on-site pathology facilities for immediate blood tests post-appointment. No appointment is necessary to visit pathology. We also provide ECG services as needed. Speak to your GP for more information.

Physiotherapy
